now thats a pretty flower... and I have some like that here in my back yard....
I got some advise a long time ago from monkey boy... I will share it with you..what you see is the flower in your cam right?
ok next time also look what's behind it... the flower is nice but the street off in the distance isn't...
btw just in case you don't know who monkey boy =

Nice colors and sharpness.
Wish also for a slightly different angle (more from the right I guess) to avoid that distracting overexposed area to the right).

I agree shooting from maybe the opposite angle would have made for a better background. That said, the flower itself is beautiful with excellent sharpness and color. Well done!
